It’s a new day, a new world, and we sincerely hope that you and yours are safe and healthy.
Our thoughts are with you, with everyone affected by the impacts of COVID-19. We are so very thankful for the healthcare workers, scientists, community and government organizations working across the globe to contain this pandemic.
In this time of crisis, we reflect with gratitude. We have been so fortunate. For more than 22 years, the Crystal Gala Foundation has brought together friends and supporters to socialize, celebrate and raise funds to support breast health and the women and men and their families who are struggling with Breast Cancer. You have gifted your money, your time and your trust in our organization. Your donations have changed the path of people’s lives, for the better. YOUR generosity c o n t i n u e s to serve our community, improving accuracy of diagnoses and providing the best equipment and technology for early detection and treatment of breast cancer.
Last week a difficult decision was made by the ten members of the Crystal Gala Foundation. We gathered via conference call to discuss the way forward. We have decided to postpone the 2020 Crystal Gala until October 2021. We know many of you in the business community are suffering. We know long-time sponsors and donors, unwavering and unfailing in your support are today uncertain about a future that two months ago looked entirely different. Out of respect for you we will simply thank our community for everything you have so willingly given.
We also know that our community is resilient and together we will see a better day.
Please be safe, be well and know that we at the Crystal Gala Foundation look forward to seeing you soon. We will come together and laugh, hug and dance in celebration of being together again at the 22nd Crystal Gala, graciously presented by Summit Brooke Construction.
Sincerely, with our love and gratitude,
On behalf of the Crystal Gala Girls
