We are a grassroots, volunteer driven organization made up of women who bring out the best in one another and the community in which we live. In 1999, we began raising money for the betterment of those living with breast cancer. Since then, with the generous support of businesses and individuals like you, we have grown organically in a place we love, in order to benefit the families we love. Those we know well, and those we’ve never met.

DONATE TO THIS YEAR’S FUND A NEED

This year, we’re thrilled to fund a groundbreaking advancement in the fight against breast cancer: raising funds to acquire a state-of-the-art Breast Cryoablation Unit for the Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre, the first of its kind in the region.

For breast cancer patients who are not candidates for surgery, traditional options like chemotherapy and radiation can control tumors in approximately 45–57% of cases. In contrast, breast cryoablation offers dramatically higher success rates between 94-100% through a minimally invasive freezing procedure.

This innovative, one-hour outpatient treatment provides a powerful alternative, potentially improving outcomes, preserving quality of life, and giving renewed hope to those with limited options. Every dollar raised through the Crystal Gala Foundation will go directly toward this life-saving initiative, helping bring this cutting-edge technology to our community and making a real difference in patients’ lives.
