Our Chair

Everyone here tonight has come together because they know this matters. When you walked into the room, you can feel the energy, the hope, the love. We all have someone we love who’s been affected by cancer. And to know that by volunteering, sponsoring, or donating—you’re part of something bigger than yourself and that truly changes lives. That’s powerful.

I don’t know of any other community that comes together quite like we do. The Crystal Gala is different. It’s homegrown, it’s heartfelt, and it’s making a real impact and has made a real impact right here in the Fraser Valley for the last 25 years.

All of us in this room should feel proud that every dollar raised has made a difference to someone you know, someone you love, and someone in our own community. So that’s why we do this, and that’s what tonight is all about.

Because together we’re not just about raising money. We’re raising hope. And together, we are saving lives.
