Our hands-on committee plans, creates, and hosts memorable events that bring people together to raise money for the cause. Our grit and determination are fueled by the men and women fighting and living with breast cancer.

For 26 years the Crystal Gala Foundation has been a force of support for those facing breast cancer in the Fraser Valley. Uniting our community, we have raised over $5.8 million and most recently completed our $1 million commitment toward a new MRI at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre (ARHCC). Through these efforts shines a legacy of resilience and brighter tomorrows; providing hope, care and vital support for those who need it most. Guided by dedicated leadership, including our founding Chair Gerri Charles, the Foundation has achieved incredible milestones in fundraising, community outreach, and direct support for those affected by breast cancer in our region.

To ensure continued success, and with the help of the next generation of doers and dreamers, we have established a new Governance Board and a new dedicated Gala Committee. This structure allows for Gerri and the remaining Board Members to continue supporting the Foundation in a governance role, while remaining respected ambassadors for the organization. It also ensures we can provide seamless, ongoing support to our valued sponsors and donors while preserving and advancing the Foundation’s vision for many years to come.

Current Board member Chalie Howes has formed the new Gala Committee with fresh talent and energy, building on established standards of Crystal Gala excellence. We look forward to introducing you to this hardworking and eager group of women while sharing more about their plans to make the 26th Annual Crystal Gala another unforgettable night of impact and celebration.

The Crystal Gala Foundation remains steadfast in our commitment to supporting breast health at the ARHCC, and through this restructure we reaffirm our dedication to making a meaningful difference in the community.
